Acoustic Creek To Play At 2010 Watermelon Festival
Acoustic Creek will be making their second appearance at the annual Watermelon Festival in Carytown, located in Richmond, Virginia. This will be the first public appearance of the trio with their new member Liza Albright. They will be playing on Sunday, August 8th, from 11:45am-12:30pm on the Juicy Stage, which will be located at the intersection of Auburn & W. Cary St. at 7-11.
Acoustic Creek is an eclectic trio consisting of Frank Breckley (guitar, vocals, percussion), Chuck Shepherd (guitar, dobro, vocals, washboard), and Liza Albright (guitar, bass, vocals, percussion) and are based in Germantown, MD and also perform in the Richmond, VA area.
Frank and Chuck have been known for their work with Breckley & Shepherd, who released a CD in 2008 entitled "Still Not Over You", which has been on iTunes and other online distributors, as well as autographed copies sold by Section 17 Records. Chuck has also released solo music on the internet since 2006, as well as his album "Children of Light", also available on iTunes, etc.
Joining Frank and Chuck is Liza Albright, a talented Lady with a gorgeous voice. She also adds bass, guitar, and percussion into the mix.

Breckley & Shepherd are currently recording their second CD, entitled "Dismal Swamp" which is being produced by Chuck Shepherd, co-produced by Liza Albright, and Frank Breckley is assistant producer. Holding true to Section 17 Records values, the CD will be produced from the artistic viewpoint above production and restrictions to give old and new B&S friends and fans the expanded sounds that have been in the works since Chuck's recovery from his stroke in 2008. Dismal Swamp will feature Frank, Chuck, and Liza Albright. The album will have the familiar B&S sound, as well as new influences into the music that we know you'll enjoy!
